La bande-son est le soutien indispensable du cinéma. Et quand les grands réalisateurs s’emparent de la musique “classique”, on atteint aux chefs-d’oeuvre, notamment chez Stanley Kubrick : Barry Lyndon, 2001 l’Odyssée de l’espace… Mais chez bien d’autres encore, dans des scènes fameuses qui subliment l’histoire du 7^ème art : Le Silence des agneaux, The King’s speech, Titanic, Le Barbier de Sibérie… sans oublier Le pianiste – bien  sûr ;-)

Olivier De Spiegeleir, remarquable pianiste belge spécialisé dans les “récitals commentés”, présente et interprète au piano solo quelques soundtracks classiques inoubliables. Ou quand Bach, Beethoven, Chopin, Schubert, Strauss, … tendent la main à Kubrick, Polanski, Cameron, Mikhalkov… et même James Bond !

The soundtrack takes a huge part in a movie. When famous director use  Classical Music, we are experiencing Masterpieces, especially with Stanley Kubrick : Barry Lyndon, 2001 Space Odyssey... but also with othermovies such as: "Silence ofhe lambs", "King's Speech", "Titanic", "The Barber of Siberia"... or the "Pianist"- of course :)

Olivier De Spiegeleir, well-known Belgian pianist, "Lecture Recitals" specialist, will introduce us to some of the unforgettable movie soundtracks. When Bach, Beethoven, Chopin, Shubert, Strauss... meet with Kubrick, Polanski, Cameron, Mikhalov or even James Bond!
