Born and raised in Bordeaux, I completed a degree in telecommunications engineering at the university there. After 7 years working at France Telecom in Paris which involved establishing the first global distance learning technology, I moved to Angers to be the Executive Director of the Vocational Training Centre of the Chamber of Commerce (4000 students/trainees per year, 130 teachers /trainers,…) .
7 years later, big departure for Vancouver, with my wife and 2 sons, with the plan to redirect my career towards the world of wine. I managed 2 liquor stores before setting out on my own as a consultant almost 12 years ago.
Member of the AFV Board of Directors from 2014 to 2019, including 3 years as Chair during the launch of the construction project, I have since actively participated in the Construction Committee. I would like to be able to continue to support the AFV and met the financial, strategic, and human challenges in these pivotal years of development in this new home.
This renewed presence and influence of the French language and culture seems to me to be a particularly important asset in our bilingual Canada and the multiculturalism of Vancouver.
