I am originally from Mauritius, where I grew up in the same neighbourhood as the Alliance Française, of which I have very fond memories.
I arrived in Canada in 1997, having completed my post-secondary studies in England and the United States. I currently own my own insurance and financial advice agency, where my aim is to protect my clients and their loved ones financially. Elected President of the BC Francophone Chamber of Commerce from 2015 to 2020, I use my professional experience to the benefit of the Francophone business community, where I am still very involved. Since 2020, I have also been President of my co-ownership where, with my colleagues on the Board of Directors, I manage a budget of $8M for various renovation projects for my building.
I would like to share my professional experience with the rest of the Board to give the young members of the AF the same happiness I felt every time I went to the AF library on St. Georges Street in Port-Louis.
