Join us for a unique and entertaining flamenco workshop designed especially for families! In this 1.5-hour workshop, the artist Sarah
Bronsard invites parents and children to dive together into the exciting world of flamenco and discover the magic of abanicos
(fans). As places are limited, please reserve now to guarantee your participation.
Initiation au Flamenco : Apprenez les bases de cette danse vibrante et expressive, adaptée à tous les âges et niveaux.
Découverte des Abanicos : Familiarisez-vous avec
l'utilisation des éventails, un accessoire emblématique du flamenco, et apprenez à les manipuler avec grâce et assurance.
Mini-Performance : À la fin de l'atelier, vous aurez
l'occasion de présenter une courte chorégraphie, mettant en valeur les mouvements appris et l'utilisation des abanicos.

Introduction to Flamenco: Learn
the basics of this vibrant and expressive dance, suitable for all ages and levels.
Discovering Abanicos: Get familiar with the use of fans, an iconic flamenco accessory, and learn to handle them with grace and confidence.
Mini-Performance: At the end of the
workshop, you'll have the opportunity to present a short choreography, showcasing the movements learned and the use of abanicos.

Sarah Bronsard est une chorégraphe basée à Tiohtià:ke/Montréal. Elle trouve son terrain le plus fertile dans la danse flamenco et sur la
scène de la danse contemporaine après un parcours artistique multidisciplinaire, incluant musique, verre soufflé, arts numériques et une
carrière de peintre. Ses projets ont été présentés au Québec, en Europe (France, Pays de Galles, Italie, Pays-Bas), en Afrique (Maroc) et
en Asie (Japon). Son travail a reçu le prix « Meilleure création originale » du Cirque du Soleil (Fringe, 2012), le prix Pierre Lapointe
(UQAM, 2016 et 2017) et le prix David-Kilburn (UQAM, 2020).

Sarah Bronsard is a choreographer based in Tiohtià/Montreal. She finds her most fertile ground in flamenco dance and on the
contemporary dance stage after a multidisciplinary artistic journey, including music, blown glass, digital arts, and a painting career.
Her projects have been presented in Quebec, Europe (France, Wales, Italy, Netherlands), Africa (Morocco), and Asia (Japan). Her work has
received the 'Best Original Creation' award from Cirque du Soleil (Fringe, 2012), the Pierre Lapointe Award (UQAM, 2016 and 2017), and the
David-Kilburn Award (UQAM, 2020).
