Artist Studios for Rent - Coming in Spring 2025

For more than 120 years, our non-profit organisation has been committed to the local artistic community. Alliance Française Vancouver (AFV) is taking a new step by offering accessible and brand new Artist Studios.

Our studios offer emerging and established artists a space to explore their creativity, collaborate and connect with the local community. Unleash your creativity and join us in shaping the future of art in Vancouver!

WORK ONLY
For Visual Artists willing to work in a dynamic environment 


COMMUNITY ORIENTED

Class A Artists Studios are defined by The City of Vancouver in its Zoning and Development By-law (2024). As Class A Studios, AFV welcome artists using non-toxic and non-hazardous materials. The use of premises for the production of  creative writing, painting, drawings, pottery, sculpture, or moving or still photography, none of which involves amplified sound or 1 or more of the materials or processes specified under Artist Studio - Class B.

About us


Alliance Française Vancouver (AFV) is a non-profit organisation dedicated to francophone culture and located in Vancouver since 1904. We present an innovative, diverse and inclusive cultural program every year across multiple disciplines.

In collaboration with a strong network of local and international partners, our events and classes are hosted in-person in our facilities or online, and suitable for people of all ages and levels of French.
